New River West Apartments to Join Transit-Friendly Trend

Plans are in full swing for a brand new downtown Chicago luxury apartment building to fill the empty parking lot and vacant 5,000 square-foot building at 740 N. Aberdeen Street in River West. Set to be conveniently situated just across from the CTA’s Chicago Avenue Blue line stop on Ogden and Milwaukee, the development will join the nearby Spoke and Linkt apartments as a major transit-friendly presence.

Design and Development Details

Chicago-based Fifield Companies will head up development of the12-story mid-rise. Judging by their past projects like 3Eleven, Niche 905, and 727 W. Madison, they’ll no doubt ace the job.

The local firm FitzGerald Associates Architects will be in charge of the design which will include 188 upscale rental units, 80 devoted parking spaces, and 2,400 square feet of ground-floor retail that’s yet to be revealed.

The luxury apartments will be overflowing with amenities for residents to enjoy – like a pool with a fabulous lounging deck and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
