Bridgford Foods to Produce Luxury Apartments in Chicago’s West Loop

Bringing the Magic to Life  

Our West Loop neighbor, Bridgford Foods, officially joined the building boom after revealing redevelopment plans to totally transform their production plant on the southwest corner of Lake and Green. We’re pretty excited about it.

With innovative architectural designs by Hartshorne Plunkard, the 17-story multi-purpose tower will include 322 rental units along with 250 parking spots atop ground-floor commercial space. Since Hartshorne Plunkard’s offices are a mere 7-minute walk away, they know their West Loop.

Past projects for the Chicago-based design team include SixForty N Wells, Jones Chicago, and Essex on the Park. With a portfolio like that, we’re sure the new luxury apartment tower in Chicago’s West Loop is a masterpiece in the making.

Step On In

We anticipate spectacular finishes from studios, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom floor plans. The new apartments in West Loop will feature:

• 75 – studio units
• 59 – convertible units
• 123 – 1-bedroom units
• 39 – 2-bedroom units
• 16 – family-sized units                               

Iconic Amenities

You’ll never have to go far to mix and mingle. A 61-foot “people space” is being created just under the “Bridgford Foods” sign that’s been an important icon on the building for over 40 years.

Up on the rooftop, plans include a bocce ball court and on the ground floor, 40,000 square feet of glorious retail awaits. Of course, there will be an outdoor pool too. Stay tuned as we update with more amenities as the plans roll forward.
